Kate MacIsaac is a Registered Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and is certified with the Ontario College of Teachers. She completed her Masters of Education in Counselling at the University of New Brunswick and holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education from Trent University.
Kate has 10 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to adults and young adults. Kate supports individuals presenting with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Kate uses a strengths-based approach and works from a variety of therapeutic modalities. She has training in solution-focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and positive psychology.
