Her previous clinical experiences included intake and neuropsychological assessment at the York University Psychology Clinic (YUPC) and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) where she attended both Oncology/Hematology and General Neurology patient rounds.

Jenna’s research focusses on various aspects of executive and frontal lobe function, namely emotion regulation skills and how these relate to Indigenous youth. She continues to work closely with various Indigenous communities, including Inuit in Nunavut, Canada where she is focused on developing adaptable, culturally centered, accessible, and holistic approaches to current standardized neuropsychological assessment and intervention. Jenna’s approach to assessment and therapy incorporates both Westernized knowledge of medicine/anatomy, brain function and empirically driven psychological practice, combined with her natural Indigenous perspective on mental health care. She is committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive services to build relationships and foster a more positive, safe, and open therapeutic experience.
