Dr. Laura Berk

Psychologist
Dr. Laura Berk is a registered Psychologist in clinical and counseling psychology with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She works with adults and older adolescents. Dr. Berk obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from York University in Toronto, Ontario in 2010. She has completed training in Emotion-Focused Therapy and has a special interest in assisting individuals with distressing emotions.
She completed her clinical psychology internships in the Adult Day Treatment Program at North York General Hospital and in the Adult Mental Health Unit of Markham Stouffville Hospital. During her training, Dr. Berk has worked in diverse clinical settings providing psychotherapeutic services for a wide range of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, PTSD, work-related injuries, learning disabilities, and grief and loss.
Dr. Berk is also a Professor at Seneca College and a Psychologist at Oshawa Psychological and Counselling Services where she offers psychotherapy and counselling services to adults and older adolescents.
