Dr. Jessica Gottlieb is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, under Supervised Practice. Dr. Gottlieb completed her PsyD in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Traumatic Stress Psychology at Alder University in Chicago.
She has trained and practiced at the Peel District School Board, Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, Children’s Specialized Hospital, UHS, and United Stand Counselling Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Gottlieb’s combined education and training in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health agencies, and schools enables her to provide services to clients including children, adolescents, and families.
Dr. Gottlieb offers psychological assessment and treatment for clients with a range of social-emotional and behavioral concerns including, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., learning disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders), mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stressful life events, anger problems, and parent-child and family relationship challenges. Dr. Gottlieb uses evidence-based approaches to treatment tailored to the client’s needs. She employs a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Family Therapy.
