Danielle Cowley is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist who completed her Master of Counselling in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Carleton University, and she further expanded her expertise by graduating from Fleming College’s Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Program.
Danielle’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from a variety of modalities to best meet the unique needs of each individual. She sees therapy as a collaborative process between the client and therapist, where together they explore ways that allow individuals to achieve their desired outcomes. Her goal is to create a safe and accepting environment where clients can gain insights, identify their strengths, and develop the coping strategies they need to thrive.
Throughout her career, Danielle has gained extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings. She specializes in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, ASD, behavioral challenges, and social concerns.
Danielle is also skilled in case management, service navigation, and advocacy, helping clients and families access the necessary supports to foster well-being and success. Whether helping clients overcome obstacles or empowering them to unlock their potential, Danielle’s empathetic and client-centered approach is dedicated to facilitating positive and lasting change.
