Dr. Narges Hosseini

Psychologist
Dr. Narges Hosseini is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her PhD in School and Child Clinical Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. She was trained and practised at York Central Hospital (previously Mackenzie Health), the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Wise Elephant Family Health Team, and Toronto and York Region District School Boards.
Dr. Hosseini’s education and training in a wide array of settings such as hospitals, community mental health agencies, and schools enable her to provide high-quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Dr.Hosseini offers psychological assessment and treatment for clients with a range of social-emotional and behavioural concerns including neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., learning disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder), mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and stressful life events, anger problems and parent-child and family relationship challenges.
Dr. Hosseini uses evidence-based approaches tailored to clients’ needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural, Emotion-Focused, and Family Therapy approaches.
Dr. Hosseini is fluent in English and Persian and provides services in both languages.
